Hmmm.. I just had an idea. I have to book a speaker every year for a huge luncheon my agency does. We look for a speaker who relates to DV and empowerment. Know anyone?
Also, my boss is a lawyer/MSW so she might just drool at this. Call me crazy but I just saw your speaking engagement button. The date is February 10, 2009. Air and accommodations included. What are your thoughts? The audience is 75 % rich, white women with time on their hands. The rest is mixed working women and men. last year we had Dr. Robi Ludwig. Some loved her , some didn’t.
Jenny
lawyer/MSW. I can relate.
2/10 is actually the day I consider my “recovery” date. I threw the ex out on 2/1, our anniversary was 2/9 and I thought he’d come home by then. :) When he didn’t I fell completely apart on 2/10. It was the beginning of the end or the beginning of the beginning. In any case, it’s an important day for me. So I would love to do a DV/empowerment talk on that day. Absolutely.
Ok, so now I need the business information part. When is the book due out?
My “wish” date is between 1/1 and 2/14. I have no idea how close I’m going to get to that.
Do I need to contact your agent?
Not for speaking.
Just for print publications or to publish the book. :)
